Busy weekend for local police

FRIDAY ARRESTS

 —  Washington Police executed a warrant and arrested 36 year old Jannette M. Russell of Evansville on charges of Theft, Possession of a Synthetic Drug, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Paraphernalia, and Possession of Marijuana.   She was booked into the Daviess County Security Center and released on a $12,500 bond.

   — A little after 4:30 p.m. Friday, two maintenance workers at Jamestown Square Apartments reported seeing a man strike a woman in the parking lot.  When officers arrived to investigate they found the man at State Street and Sullivan Drive.   Arrested was 55 year old Marcos A. Pantoja of Washington.  He was booked into the Daviess County Security Center on charges of Domestic Battery and Battery Resulting in Bodily Injury.

   –The Daviess County Sheriff’s  Department arrested 32 year old Jason M. Jones of Montgomery on charges of Burglary and Auto Theft.  He is being held in the Security Center on a $225,000 bond.

 —  Washington Police served a warrant and arrested 39 year old Dannielle F. Doezeman of Washington, for Failure to Appear for Driving While Suspended.  She was booked into the Security Center.

  — The Knox County Sheriff’s Department served a warrant on a Washington woman.  They arrested 29 year old Jessica Garland who was Terminated from Community Corrections and transported to the Daviess County Security Center

 —  Daviess County Deputies served a warrant on 38 year old Melissa A. Carpenter of Wheatland.  She was terminated from Community Corrections and taken to the Daviess County Security Center. 

  —  And the Washington Police Department made a traffic stop and arrested 20 year old Rueben Ramos of Washington for Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated with a  Controlled Substance and Operating While Intoxicated Endangering a Person.  He was taken to the Security Center.

SATURDAY ARRESTS

-Washington Police arrested 23-year-old Xavier Fuelser of Washington on a Writ of Attachment Saturday. Bond was set at $700.

-A Washington Police investigation into an alleged shoplifting incident at Save-A-Lot in Washington resulted in Criminal Conversion Charges against Michael G. Wilson of Vincennes and Kimberly Wagler, 40 of Washington.  They were booked into the security center on $2000 each. 

Washington Police served a warrant Saturday on 55-year-old Gregory S. Smith for a Petition to Revoke a Suspended Sentence for Criminal Conversion. Bond was set at $2500.

-Daviess County Deputies served a warrant Saturday on 20-year-old Cheyenne S. Stoll of Washington. She was wanted for Fraud and theft.  Bond was posted.

-Nathaniel T. Robinson of Washington was arrested on a Petition to Revoke a Suspended Sentence on Saturday. Bond was set at $10,000.

SUNDAY ARRESTS

-Indiana State Police at Jasper arrested 26-year-old Joanna M. Armstrong and 48-year-old Dave M. Armstrong both of Washington for Possession of Marijuana on Sunday.  Bond was posted.  Joanna Armstrong posted bond.

-Washington Police arrested 63-year-old Randal L. Chestnut of Washington with three counts of Operating While Intoxicated Sunday including with Endangerment and with .15% or more.  Bond was set at $2500.  The charges stem from a traffic stop  at Northwest 10th and Downey at 9:39 Sunday night.

-Washington Police served 28-year-old Ryan M. Morgan with an arrest warrant from Knox County Sunday.  No bond was set.  He was picked up when police went to a Northeast 1st residence in the midnight hour to investigate a complaint.


ACCIDENTS AND INCIDENTS 

-An accident without injuries was reported at 5:16pm Sunday on Main in Montgomery.

-A car/deer crash was reported at 10:24 last night at mile marker 83 on I69.

-A car/deer crash happened Saturday night on 231 at Odon at 10:22-pm.

-Saturday, a 54-year-old man was involved in a motorcycle accident on County Road 1225 east at Odon. Air Evac was dispatched and transported the man from the scene.

-Washington Police investigated a report of a vehicle vandalism on Walnut Street at 10:14 Sunday morning.   A resident  reported a car window broken out.  Police reports say the vehicle had already had the back glass broken out in a previous vandalism incident.
