Due to an apparent lack of interest and participation there’s no Daviess County Fair Parade or Queen Contest this year.
Again there’s no queen contest or fair parade scheduled for this year’s Daviess County Fair which kicks off next week.
Some preliminary events actually start this weekend. The Dairy Goat show is 8:30 tomorrow and the Boer Goat Show is Sunday at 4.
Rides open starting Tuesday night at 6 from James Gang Amusements. Tuesday and Thursday unlimited rides are available for $15 and Wednesday Friday and Saturday unlimited rides are available for $20.
Tuesday night events include the band Haywire on the stage at 7 and a Pedal Tractor Pull in the arena at 7.
Wednesday is the Little Miss and Mister Contest, there’s Garden Pulls and the Jones Gang will entertain. Thursday night there are horse pulls and the live music is from White River Bluegrass. Monster Trucks highlight Friday night and the Demo Derby on Saturday.
