Authorities arrest 2 for possession overnight

-At 1 this morning, Washington Police made traffic stop at South Meridian.  Upon investigation involving a K9, 30-year-old Nicole Kimpling was charged with Possession of Marijuana, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Obstruction of Justice.  Bond was posted.

-Also overnight, the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department arrested 44-year-old Derek Hollis of Odon.  He’s charged with Possession of Meth, and a Controlled Substance and Obstruction of Justice.  No bond was set. That arrest believed to have been the result of a traffic stop just after midnight at East Main and Bair Street in Odon.

–A traffic stop at Northwest 10th and Lincoln at 5-pm yesterday resulted in the arrest of 32-year-old Kawasiki Williams.  The Washington man is charged with Possession of Marijuana and Obstruction of Justice.

-Odon Police charged 27-year-old Tracey E. Taylor of Bloomfield yesterday with Operating While Intoxicated with a Controlled Substance, Driving While Suspended with a Prior and Possession of Marijuana.  No bond was set.

 

-There was a car/deer crash on I69 at the 63 mile marker reported at 7:41 Thursday morning.

-At 4:45 yesterday afternoon, a car/deer crash was reported from 900-East.

-There was some vandalism reported at the First Baptist Church on East Walnut.

-At attempted break in was reported on Southwest 6th.
