Two OVWI arrests Thursday and several minor crashes reported…

-The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department served an arrest warrant on 48-year-old Dave Armstrong of Washington yesterday.  He was wanted for Battery Resulting in Moderate Bodily Injury and Domestic Battery.  Bond was posted.

-Washington Police arrested 33-year-old Ashley Harris of Shoals on Thursday for 4 counts of Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated including with a Prior, Refusal and with Endangerment.  She’s also charged with Reckless Driving.  No bond was set. Also last night, 36-year-old Mathew Osborne of Washington is facing 3 counts of Operating While Intoxicated including with Endangerment.  No bond was set.  It’s believed the two were charged following a traffic stop and investigation at Front and Lincoln Streets at 8:40 last night.

 -One person was injured when a vehicle hit a tree at 5:21 yesterday morning near Odon.

-A motorist reported some boxes from a truck and hit her vehicle near the Washington Post Office causing some damage. That was reported at 7:30 Thursday morning.

-There was a parking lot accident at Family Dollar reported at 9:30-am Thursday.  Another parking lot mishap with two vehicle happened at Wal-Mart about 11:15-am.  At 1:45 a collision in the East Side Park parking lot was reported.

-There was a fender/bender in the McDonald’s drive-thru at 11:10-am Thursday.

-A resident on Northwest 2nd report their vehicle had been hit by another vehicle and left the scene.  The vehicle’s owner said there was damage to the rear driver’s side door and they didn’t know when it happened.

-A resident on County Road 75-East reported damage to two mailboxes along the road.
