James R. Wilson, 80, of Loogootee, passed away at 4:25 p.m. Tuesday, May 1st, 2018 at Memorial Hospital and Healthcare Center.
He was born July 1st, 1937 in Danville, Kentucky to the late William E. and Dorothy K. (Webb) Wilson.
James enjoyed hunting, cooking, gardening and many years ago owned a motorcycle repair shop. He was a jack of all trades and touched many lives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William E. and Dorothy K. (Webb) Wilson.
James is survived by his children, Jolynn (Matt) Rebentisch of Salt Lake City, Utah, Bo (Melanie) Wilson of Loogootee, Katie Wilson of Jasper and Kathie Wilson of Maumee, Ohio; 5 grandchildren and 6 step-grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Blake Funeral Home in Loogootee with John Simmons officiating. A private burial will be held at a later date.
Visitation will be held Saturday, May 5, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
