Weekend fires in Vincennes, Odon, Loogootee, Plainville and Montgomery

-Vincennes firefighters and police responded to a fully engulfed house fire at 1424 State Street in Vincennes last night. The calls went out about 10:30-pm.  Vincennes Fire Battalion Chief Brett Bobe told WAMW the fire is under investigation and there were no injuries.   Witnesses stated the occupant, whose name has not been released, lost everything in the fire. Firemen were on scene until around 3:30 this morning. 

 –      Odon firefighters responded to a kitchen fire at 8:33 last night from 300 South Sycamore in Odon. There were no injuries. Occupants got out of the home after attempting to put out the fire with a fire extinguisher.  Firefighters were on scene for about 90 minutes.

– At 6 last night, Cannelburg and Madison firefighters responded to a fire call at 12439 Meyer’s Point Drive Loogootee.  They were on scene for less than 90 minutes.  No injuries were reported in that incident.

    –    A garage was reported to have caught fire Saturday.  Volunteer firefighters were called out a 11:32 am to a garage at a residence on 475 East. Plainville, Madison, Odon and Elnora all responded.  No injuries were reported. The last units left that scene just before 2-pm Saturday.

   –   A house fire was responded to at 9:05-pm Saturday night on 550-East in Montgomery.  Authorities were on that scene for about an hour.  There were no injuries.
