Woman charged with OVWI and Possession

-Washington Police have charged a local woman with numerous possession charges.  34-year-old Angela Gray was arrested on Thursday for Possession of Meth, Marijuana and Paraphernalia.  She was also charged with Operating While Intoxicated with Endangerment and Refusal.   No bond was set.  Gray was jailed after a traffic stop on South Meridian at 8:47 last night.

-The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department arrested an Indianapolis man on a warrant for Burglary, Theft, and two counts of Conspiracy. Bond was set at $7500 for 43-year-old Richard Pinkham.

-A Washington man was booked into the Daviess County Security Center Thursday on a $25,000 bond on a Failure to Appear warrant.  32-year-old Kyle Coleman was arrested by the sheriff’s department.

-Overnight, Tayonna Smith, 22 of Washington was arrested on a warrant for Failure to Appear.  Bond was set at $2000.

–and also…40-year-old David Speakman of Washington arrested on a Failure to Appear warrant. Bond was set at $3000.

-A resident on Southwest 2nd reported a breaking and entering and some items stolen. The resident told police after being gone overnight, they came home to find a TV and Roku Box missing. 

-A semi was reported to have tried to drive through high water on Daviess County Road 750-South yesterday morning. The vehicle ended up in a ditch.  There was not damage and no injuries and the semi was back on the road within an hour.

-A motorist hit a turkey in the road on 1100-East yesterday morning.

-Authorities worked and investigated an accident at 400-North and 100-West yesterday afternoon.
