Pre-Basic Law Enforcement Class being offered in Petersburg

If you are looking at a career in Law Enforcement, a 40 hour Pre-Basic class is being held in Petersburg late this spring.

        The Petersburg Police Department says the Pre-Basic, the prerequisite for anyone wanting to attend the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy will be available in June this year.  You must be at least 18 to take the class. A $100 fee is due at sign up and students are responsible for providing their own handgun for the firearms portion along with 150 rounds of ammunition.  For more information contact Petersburg Police Sergeant Chad McClellen at cmcclellan@petersburg.in.gov.
