Accidents, incidents and arrests from the weekend

POLICE REPORTS

-There was a hit and run accident reported at the parking lot of King Pin Bowling Alley last night at 9:08-pm.  The suspect vehicle possibly left northbound on 21st Street.

-At 11:05 am yesterday and ambulance was requested from County Road 1225 East at Odon.  Police reports say a 17 year old boy had been involved in a motocross accident.  The victim was said to have been conscious and was transported to Jasper Memorial Hospital.

-Saturday at just before 10-am there was a two vehicle accident at 401 East National Highway.  There were no injuries. Charges are pending for one motorist for Operating While Never Licensed.

-Police responded to a fight at Wendy’s Restaurant at just before 9 Saturday night.  A woman and a juvenile male were taken to the police station but no charges were filed.

-Police were called to a shoplifting incident at Wal Mart at 10:30 Saturday night. The female suspect left before officers arrived.  She had been in the office at Wal Mart confronted with the charges and then ran out and left.  She will be long formed for theft.

 DAVIESS ARRESTS

 -A Washington woman as jailed on Saturday for Battery Resulting in Bodily Injury and Resisting Law Enforcement.  No bond was set for 35-year-old Ashley M. Gerber. That incident the result of a domestic incident reported at 10:16 Saturday night on Southeast 2nd.

-39-year-old Leroy D. Swartzentruber of Montgomery was arrested by Odon Police Sunday for Operating While Intoxicated.

-21-year-old Karl J. Stuffle of Washington was arrested for Public Intoxication and Disorderly Conduct on Sunday. No bond was set.

-Damon Dant, 40-years old of Montgomery was jailed on Sunday on a Petition to Revoke a Suspended Sentence.  Bond was posted.

-Washington Police arrested a local man on warrants for Burglary, Fraud and Theft.  Bond for 27-year-old Gregory Aldrich of Washington was set at $50,000.

-Jarod Knepp, 18 of Loogootee was jailed for Minor Possession of Alcohol.  The arrested was made by Indiana State Police Sunday.  Bond was posted.

-Police were called to a Southeast 2nd Street home Sunday at 5:36-pm in reference to a domestic incident.  Arrested was 50-year-old Donnie Heggen charged with Domestic Battery.  No bond was set.

OTHER ARRESTS

-A Vincennes man was jailed on a Knox County warrant for Conspiracy to Deal Meth and Possession of Meth.  He was arrested in the 1600 block of Mentor Street at 11:10 last night.

-Loogootee Police arrested Jacob R. Nonte of Loogootee Saturday for Operating While Intoxicated with a BAC of .15 or more..and also for Operating While Intoxicated with Endangerment, and minor consumption of alcohol.  He was lodged in the Martin County Security Center.
