The annual fundraiser to benefit the Corning Irish Heritage Center is tomorrow night at the Knights of Columbus in Washington.  Connie Carroll says there’ll be a traditional Irish menu

The event is to raise money for the upkeep and activities hosted at the center located in Corning in Southern Daviess County.  Carroll says they are always working to improve the facility…

She adds that more and more people are discovering their Irish roots in the area…

Serving for the meal starts at 6 tomorrow, again at the K of C in Washington.  The cost is $15.  In addition to the food there’s celtic music, sing-alongs and prizes to win.   If you want more info on the center visit their website www.corningheritagecenter.com To hear the full interview with Connie Carroll go to the Take 5 for Our Community Page.
