The Indiana Department of Transportation is planning improvement to the U.S. 41 at Freelandville Road and U.S. 41 at Old U.S. 41 intersections in Knox County. The purpose of planned improvements are to improve safety at each intersection. A public meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday March 13th at 6:30pm at the Oaktown Community Center to give INDOT the opportunity to meet with members of the community and present a proposal for consideration. The meeting is also an opportunity for the community to meet with project team members and have their questions, comments and concerns addressed. Following the presentation, INDOT representatives will be available to address questions and community members will have the opportunity to view displays of the proposed treatment for each intersection.
