It’s not only March Madness time its Marsh Madness time. This is when the Sandhill Crane and waterfowl migration at Goose Pond Fish and Wildlife Area in Greene County is at its peak and events known as Marsh Madness go on today and tomorrow.
Goose Pond Fish & Wildlife Area visitors can expect to see thousands of sandhill cranes, pelicans and waterfowl. There will be guided bus tours, self-guided driving tours, an arts & crafts fair, kid-friendly activities, speakers and presentations, exhibitors, live birds of prey and live reptiles. Marsh Madness Festival headquarters are at Humphrey’s Park in Linton.
