Theft Arrests at Wal-Mart; Attempted Break-In in Washington

-A traffic stop at 1:15 this morning at Southview Trailer Court resulted in the arrest of 43-year-old Michael Lee Crowe.  He’s charged with Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated.

-Washington Police arrested 25-year-old Dave Narcisse and 31-year-old Ashley Grant both of Evansville for Theft.  Bond was set at $2000.  The arrests came after a shoplifting investigation at Wal-Mart. Another suspect was Long Formed for Theft.  That all happened at 4:30 yesterday afternoon.

-A Washington man was jailed on a warrant for Forgery, Theft and a Petition to Revoke a Suspended Sentence for Controlled Substance.  Bond for 45-year-old Thomas Bevers was set at $27,500.

-A minor accident with no injuries was reported just before 10-am on 57 at Southview Trailer Court.

-A resident on East Van Trees reported the back glass of an SUV was busted out while it was parked in a driveway. That report was made at 12:23 pm.

-Police investigated a report of an attempted break in at a residence along East National Highway.  The occupant heard their dog barking and found that someone broke a window attempting to get into a back bedroom. The suspect was seen running south bound wearing a black hoody and jeans.  That was reported at just before 3-pm.
