Weekend Arrests and Accidents

-Two people were arrested Saturday for Domestic Battery in the Presence of  a Minor.  It happened at a Loogootee address on 350-north.  The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department booked 19-year-old Star Wiscaver  and 49-year-old Robbie Robinson into the Daviess County Security Center on the charge.  No bond was set.

 -59-year-old Michael Vachet of Vincennes was arrested by State Police Saturday for Driving while Suspended and Possession of Meth.  Bond was set at $50,000.

-A Knox County woman was arrested on a warrant by the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department on Saturday.  34-year-old Chiffone Puckett of Bruceville was wanted for Residential Entry and Resisting Law Enforcement.  Bond was set at $2500.

-An Indiana State Police investigation this weekend resulted in charges of Strangulation, Battery in the Presence of a Minor, Possession of Marijuana, Theft and Driving While Suspended.  21-year-old Brandon Karns of Odon was booked into the Daviess County Security Center Sunday on the charges.

-Sunday, 55-year-old Kevin Adamson of Bridgeport, Illinois was arrested by Washington Police for Operating While Intoxicated with greater than .15%.  Bond was set at $2000. The arrest was made after a traffic stop at 3:22-am Sunday morning at Center Street and State Road 57 in Washington.

-Rhett Truelove 41 of Montgomery was arrested on Sunday on a warrant.  He was jailed on $25,000 bond on a Petition to Revoke a Suspended Sentence.

-There was a minor accident at 8:41 on Sunday morning on Old 50-West. A motorist reported sliding off of the road. There were no injuries.

-Washington City Police worked an accident on Southeast 21st at just after 7 Sunday morning.  One person signed a state of medical release at the scene.  Police were on scene for less than an hour.

-Vincennes City, Vincennes University and State Police worked together in a Sunday morning arrest.  At 1:05-am, 29-year-old Rodney Joe Sherman of Vincennes was jailed for Possession of a Paraphernalia and a  Hypodermic Syringe.  He’s also charged with Operating While Never Licensed, and on a Lawrence County, Illinois warrant for Failure to Appear for Retail Theft.

-Vincennes Police investigated a burglary on Broadway in Vincennes at 9:40-am on Saturday.  The investigation resulted in the arrest of 21-year-old Bryce A. Cummings.  He’s charged with three felonies, Burglary, Possession of Meth and Possession of a Syringe.  He was also charged with a misdemeanor count of Possession of Marijuana.
