Semi and Van Collision at US 50/57

A Washington man had to be extricated from the van he was driving after a late Friday afternoon collision at US 50 and State Road 57 south of Washington.

        Jorrin Nolan was driving south and according to reports ran the red light.  Authorities reported having several witnesses stating the semi had the green light.  Nolan was hit by an eastbound semi driven by Devon Graber of Cannelburg.  Nolan was extricated and taken to Daviess Community Hospital and then flown to St. Vincent in Evansville.  Graber was not injured. 

        The eastbound lane of 50 was closed to one lane for a time while emergency personnel and investigators worked the scene.
