House Passes Their Sunday Sales Measure

(NETWORK INDIANA)    It’s now just a matter of time before Indiana legalizes Sunday alcohol sales.

A day after the Senate voted overwhelmingly to lift the century-old ban, the House has followed suit, supporting repeal 87-10.

Governor Holcomb has said he supports the change, but the bill doesn’t go to his desk just yet. Either the House or Senate must pass the other’s bill. That won’t happen until late next month at the earliest.

The bill would take effect July 1.
