If you are one of those who feels your voice is not heard when it comes to your community …you are encouraged to attend a forum January 30th.

A program called Hometown Collaborative Initiative has been in the works for some time.  The city of Washington was chosen as one of 19 cities in the state to be part of the initiative geared toward improving the quality of life in the Washington area.   A Leadership Daviess County Core Team took the project on and has been working to identify community needs.   Samantha Bobbitt tells us more…

The forum is designed to be very interactive and not a night of sitting and listening.  It will be held at the Harvest Community Fellow Ship Church, which is the old St. Mary’s School on Main Street.  It’s January 30th at 6pm.

The Hometown Collaboration Initiative is a program created through the State Office of Community and Rural Affairs along with Purdue and Ball State.
