Stolen Vehicle Investigations and Drug Arrests Reported

-A vehicle reported stolen in Washington was recovered in Dubois County.  Washington Police reports state that the gray 2014 Dodge Charger was reported taken from 400 Northwest 12th in Washington and was located at Farbest Foods in Huntingburg at just before 9 last night.

-Daviess County Law Enforcement were notified by Martin County authorities that a black 2000 Mercedes Benz has been taken from a lot in Martin County for a test drive and apparently was not brought back.  The investigation continues.

 -The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department made some drug arrests on yesterday’s date.  52-year-old Michael McAtee and 51-year-old Kimberly McAtee are both charged with Possession of Meth, Marijuana, a Hypodermic Syringe and Paraphernalia. Both are also charged with Maintaining a Common Nuisance.  Mr. McAtee was also facing a count of Possession of a Firearm by a Felon.  His bond was set at $100,000 while Kimberly McAtee’s bond was set at $2500.

-The DCSD also arrested 20-year-old Benjamin Phillips yesterday for Conspiracy to Commit Dealing in Meth.  Bond was set at $100,000.

-Also arrested Friday was 41-year-old Linda Robinson of Loogootee for A Writ of Attachment; 35-year-old James Honeycutt of Loogootee on a Home Detention Violation and 35-year-old Amanda Morgan on an Out of County Warrant.
