A local concert Saturday will benefit the Washington High School Band Boosters.
The Red Letter Vocal Group will be at the High School Auditorium. Jamie Moreland, known as the singing mail carrier… says the group has members from all over the region…
Moreland says it’s the first time the group has performed in Washington. Band Booster Spokesman Scott Arthur says it takes cash to keep a high school band program going. Washington’s program has seen some new growth and a re-birth in recent years with more participants and success at the state competition.
Admission is a free will offering to the concert. There’s also a silent auction with some items available for bid. The show starts at 7.
