The Martin County Sheriff’s Office has released details on Facebook about a Monday night police chase.
They report that after a narcotics investigation conducted by several department members including the Sheriff, a search warrant was served at a Highway 150 home near shoals occupied by Cary L. Clifton. Officers saw meth when they walked in and Mr. Clifton returned home a short time later. He drove off when he saw the police.
Martin County Sheriff Travis Rousch and Sergeant Keith Keller pursued him on Windom Road getting up to double the posted speed limit. They report the chase ended near Tedrow Road and Clifton was arrested. He faces multiple charges.
