Authorities are trying to determine the cause of a crash yesterday at Old 50 and 57 which backed up traffic starting around 8:30.
Peggy Wyatt of Washington was headed North on 57 in a 2004 Dodge Neon waiting to turn left, and Tina I Leonard, 46 of Washington was eastbound on 50 in a 1998 Saturn when the vehicles collided. The Leonard vehicle ended up on its side after the impact.
State police, Washington Police and Washington Fire department personnel responded. Leonard had to be removed from her vehicle by emergency personnel and was taken from the scene by ambulance complaining of neck pain. Wyatt was not injured.
Police continue to investigate the crash.
