Vehicle Stolen From CVS; Several Local Alcohol Arrests, and a Drug Arrest in Greene County

-A vehicle parked at CVS in Washington was reported stolen late yesterday afternoon. The report came in at 4:55.  The vehicle was a 1998 Ford Econoline Van.  It’s white and has a “What’s Your Sign” decal.  Anyone with information on the theft is urged to contact Washington City Police Department.  Their phone number 812-254-4410.

-Employees at Save-A-Lot in East Washington called city police reporting a woman walked out of the store without paying for some items.  Police located and identified and questioned the woman.  Charges may be pending.

-The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department arrested 24-year-old Samuel Southerland of Washington overnight.  He’s charged with Operating While Intoxicated Refusal.

-Washington Police arrested 22-year-old Jose Lopez-Rodriguez of Loogootee yesterday for Operating While Intoxicated with Endangerment and Operating While Never Having a License.  No bond was set.

-A Loogootee teen was arrested by Loogootee Police early Friday.  18-year-old Christopher J. Wilson was charged with Dealing a Legend Drug and booked into the Martin County Jail.

 –Another person has been arrested in connection with a Greene County drug trafficking investigation.  A traffic stop November 18th turned up a large amount of meth which led to a search warrant being served at a Bloomfield apartment. 44-year-old Christopher Urban and his wife Virginia Urban were charged with numerous counts of drug dealing and possession in that investigation.   Now authorities say another Bloomfield resident, 

37-year-old Erica B. Smith was also arrested for dealing meth as part of the same case.  They reported yesterday that she was found in Indianapolis November 22nd and taken into custody.
