City Council Agenda

The Washington City Council meets in regular session tonight.  Prior to the meeting, the council will hold two public hearings.  One deals with the submission of a grant application to the state Office of Community and Rural Affairs concerning construction of the new PACE Community and Child Development Center.  The other hearing has to do with additional appropriations from the city’s Rainy Day Fund.

In Council business ordinances for that additional appropriation and on rezoning land on Ogden Street will be introduced.  There’ll also be a resolution read on transferring funds in the General Fund’s Engineering Budget.  The Council will also hear a tax abatement request from Alliance Barrier Films LLC.

The Council meets at 6:30 at the Council Chambers on Harned Avenue.
