Indiana State Police today have identified the 2nd man who died in Wednesday’s double fatal in Martin County.
That man’s identity had been withheld until all family were notified. State Police say 35-year-old John Brett of Shoals was a passenger in the 2008 Dodge Avenger that was hit on US 231 north of Loogootee Wednesday morning. He was transferred to St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville after the crash and later died. The vehicle he was in was driven by 29-year-old Zachary Greene of Loogootee. They were driving south when a car veered into their lane which was driven by 60 year old Kevin Sears of Odon. He died at the scene. Greene was treated for leg and ankle injuries.
