Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb shared his 2018 Next Level Agenda today. The agenda he says continues the 2017 priorities while placing a greater emphasis on building Indiana’s workforce to fill high wage, high demand jobs.
The new agenda outlined several legislative and administrative priorities such as cultivating a strong diverse economy, maintaining the state’s infrastructure, developing a 21st century skilled workforce, attacking the drug epidemic and improving government service.
The governor laid out his plans in Indianapolis this morning and he’s touring the state the rest of the week to promote the initiative. He is scheduled to be in Jasper tomorrow to speak at the annual Chamber of Commerce’s annual meeting. That’s set for 11:30-am at at Klubhouse 61 at 2031 Newton Street in Jasper. The governor speaks at 12:30.
