Oldest Indiana Worker Honored

Indiana’s oldest state employee is getting a sign in his honor at Brown County State Park. 100-year-old Bob Vollmer is in his 55th year of service for the Department of Natural Resources and a sign was placed in his honor at a ceremony Tuesday morning. Vollmer is best known for his 10 O’Clock Line Nature Preserve work on the park. He received the Sagamore of the Wabash Award, which is the state’s highest award.
