Tornadoes in South Central Indiana

Weather conditions were threatening but no major issues due to storms in our area.
There was a tree reported down on West Hefron and Northwest 6th last night.
Some lowland flooding is possible along roads close to rivers and streams due to yesterday’s rain. The flooding may also affect low farm land and river parks. Significant flooding is not expected.

 -Elsewhere on Sunday heavy  rain, high winds, storm damage, and even more tornadoes were a part the day. In Bloomington, an Indiana University men’s basketball exhibition game was delayed because of a tornado. Assembly Hall was evacuated and everyone was ordered to court level. In Muncie, there was significant damage done to the Muncie Fieldhouse. A tornado also caused a gas leak in Jay County along with a power outage and other storm damage.  In Jackson County storms blew down trees and power lines 50 miles north of Louisville.
