Governor to Speak in Jasper Thursday

         Governor Eric Holcomb will roll out his legislative agenda for next year on Wednesday. Holcomb will make six stops in three days next week to announce his priorities for next year.  One of those stops will be in Jasper.

          He’s said previously he’ll be taking a second swing at streamlining Indiana job training and fighting the opioid epidemic. And he says he’ll again target infrastructure, months after legislators approved a 20-year funding plan for roads and bridges. Holcomb will kick off the tour at the statehouse, and then visit Lafayette, Sellersburg, Jasper, Elkhart and Fort Wayne.

          The Jasper visit will be Thursday at Klubhouse 61 at 2031 Newton Street in Jasper.  The governor is scheduled to make his remarks at the Jasper Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting which starts at 11:30, the governor speaks at 12:30.
