-The Martin County Sheriff’s Department and Loogootee Police are investigating a hit and run accident. The Martin County Sheriff’s Department’s Facebook Page is reporting the incident happened at 8:49-am Tuesday morning on the east edge of Loogootee. The motorist left their vehicle on foot. She was described as a white female standing 5’10” with blonde hair and wearing a white fur line coat. She was headed west from the accident scene.
-There was a hit and run accident on East Van Trees yesterday morning. One vehicle hit a parked vehicle and then left the scene. That was reported at 7:19-am Tuesday.
-The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department arrested 29-year-old Daniel Moffett of Sarasota, Florida on a warrant for Dealing Meth. Bond was set at $250,000.
-A Lawrenceville, IL man was jailed in Knox County last night for Disorderly Conduct and Public Intoxication. Vincennes Police were called to a disorderly complaint on North 6th At 8:05-pm. That’s when 29-year-old Stephen Kyle Lay was taken into custody on the charges.
-Vincennes Police arrested 18-year-old Dagon Frye for Burglary early today. He was booked into the Knox County Jail at 1:41-am.
-William Pittman, 28, was lodged in the Knox County Jail last night on a Forgery charge.
-Vincennes Police arrested 39-year-old Brock Ridgley yesterday for Possession of Meth and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
-26-year-old Henry Key was arrested by Knox County Deputies and booked in at 3:47-pm yesterday for Possession of Marijuana.
-Vincennes Polic arrested 27-year-old Dylan Jones yesterday for Forgery, Theft and 3 counts of Fraud.
