—Vincennes City and University Police arrested 25-year-old Zachary Gilliat for Domestic Battery this morning. He was located at 1st and Red Skelton at 7:15 am. Police report that two days ago they went to Bowman Terrace Apartments in reference to a domestic battery and learned that Gilliat had allegedly battered and strangled another person identified as his spouse. Gilliat was lodged in the Knox County Jail.
– There were two car/deer crashes in the county yesterday. The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department daily log shows one happened about 4:30am at 50 and 257. The other happened just after 8 last night near Montgomery on County Road 675-South.
