-The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department arrested 18-year-old Courtney Howell of Washington on Sunday.   She’s charged with Operating While Intoxicated with Greater than .08% BAC and less than .15%, with Minor Possession of Alcohol and Operating While Intoxicated with Endangerment.

-22-year-old Aaron Johnson of Loogootee was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated with Endangerment on Saturday.

 -There was a property damage accident reported at Vincennes and Northwest 6th in Washington at just before 3 Sunday afternoon.   A vehicle was said to have left the scene.

-A vehicle hit a parked truck at Wal Mart Sunday. That was reported at 4:25-pm.  City Police were investigating.

-The Washington Fire Department responded to what was described as a yard fire at 1:20 Sunday afternoon on Cosby Road.  Reports say the fire was out about 20 minutes later.

-A Dodge Charger was reported to be in a ditch on 90-east at just before 8-am on Sunday.  There was no driver around but they were located at their address.  Police learned the motorist had swerved to miss a deer and ended up in a ditch.

-Authorities responded to a 5-pm accident at Highways 358 and 57 yesterday.  It involved one vehicle and a medical release was signed by one of the occupants of the car.  Reports say a woman and some children were in the vehicle.

-A truck was reported broken into on 800-East in Montgomery. That report was made at 6:47-pm last night.
