The Washington Police Department released details on the car-4-wheeler accident at the intersection of NW. 15th and North Streets, Wednesday afternoon. The police report says that 39 year old Billy Christenberry disregarded a stop sign on NW. 15th and struck the driver’s side of a van driven by Gail Pruitt of Washington. Christenberry suffered injuries to his head, neck, and left leg. He was transported by ambulance to Daviess Community Hospital and then by helicopter to a hospital in Evansville. Damage from the accident was estimated to be between $5,000 and $10,000.

Thursday, the Indiana State Police arrested 53 year old Raymond Stroud of Washington on a charge of Theft. He was released on a $2,500 bond.

The Washington Police Department arrested 36 year old Mavi Hernandez of Washington on charges of Forgery, Deception, False Government Identification, and Welfare Fraud. Her bond was set at $15,000.

Also on Thursday, the Washington Police Department arrested 47 year old Jason Warren of Washington for Possession of Methamphetamine. His bond was set at $2,500.

The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department made an overnight arrest. 22-year-old Carlos Hernandez Mendosa was booked into the Daviess County Security Center without bond for Resisting Law Enforcement in a Vehicle, Resisting Law Enforcement and Operating While Never Licensed.

 

In Knox County…

At 8:20 Thursday evening, Vincennes Police were called to Autumn Ridge Apartments in regards to a dispute. They arrested 21 year old Brian McIntosh of Vincennes on charges of disorderly conduct, resisting law enforcement, and battery. He was taken to the Knox County Jail.

In a separate incident, Vincennes Police arrested 25 year old Brittany Crockett of Vincennes on charges of Disorderly conduct and resisting law enforcement.
