Indiana DNR considering bobcat hunting

As more bobcats are being spotted throughout Indiana, the Indiana Department of Natural Resources says they may consider allowing a tightly-regulated hunting and trapping season for the wildlife animal.

The Natural Resources Commission, the rulemaking body of the Indiana DNR, plans to have several meetings, including a hearing allowing for public comment on the matter.

Phil Bloom with the Indiana Department of Natural Resources says it may take between several months to a year before any bobcat hunting and trapping season is established.
