Mary E. Cissell, 65, of Washington, IN, passed from this life on Friday, Sept. 8, 2017, at her home. She was born on Jan. 22, 1952, in Oaktown, IN, to Harvey J. & Selma R. (Archer) Faith.
Mary was a Christian and member of the 2nd Mt. Olive Baptist Church, who thoroughly enjoyed serving her Lord and Savior. She worked as a nurse’s aide and cook at various nursing homes and finished the last 10 years of her career as a Registered Nurse at Ketchem Memorial Nursing Home. Mary, also, enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, hunting mushrooms, fishing, and working with crafts.
Survivors include: three sons, Walter Cissell & Mike Cissell, both of Washington, Adam (Missi) Cissell of Odon; a daughter, Dawn (Greg) Miles of Washington; 14 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; brothers & sisters: George Faith of Washington, Nancy (Ed) Ferguson of Elnora, Elaine Faith of Vincennes, Rosa (Carl) Mischler of Washington, David (Debbie) Faith of Washington, and Frank (Marsha) Faith of Elnora.
Mary was preceded in death by: her parents and a grandson, J.B. Wittmer.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 PM on Tues., Sept. 12, 2017, at Meng Family Funeral Home in Odon, with Pastor Ted Hawkins officiating. Mary will be laid to rest in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Odon.
Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM (the time of the service) on Tues., Sept. 12, 2017.
