The Vincennes Police are currently investigating an accident that occurred at Gregg Park on 08-02-2017. The accident occurred around 9:00 pm near the open shelter house. The accident involved a two door Jeep Wrangler, with a tan interior. We are looking for anyone with information about a white male seen in the park in that Jeep to come forward. The male is described as being over 5’8 with a large build, possibly in his late 30’s or 40’s.
The male was reportedly there with a yellow lab or golden retriever dog. The male has reportedly been to the park several times before, and does not keep the dog on a leash. The accident involved a Jeep Wrangler striking a pedestrian at a high rate of speed causing serious injury.
