Area arrest reports

-Overnight, 50-year-old Byron L. Merryweather of Washington was booked into the Daviess County Security Center on a charge of Intimidation.  The arrest was made by Washington Police.

-A Washington man allegedly fought with police and was jailed yesterday. Arrest reports show that Washington Police charged 25-year-old Jeremy N. Russell with two counts of Battery on Law Enforcement, Resisting Law Enforcement and Theft.  He was jailed without bond.

-35-year-old Michael S. Hambrick of Washington was arrested Wednesday by city police for Theft and posted bond.

-Washington officers served a Failure To Appear arrest warrant on 36-year-old Robert E. Hambrick of Plainville yesterday. Bond was set at $2500.

-The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department arrested 27-year-old James C. Crockett of Vincennes yesterday.  He was jailed for Operating while Intoxicated with a BAC greater than or equal to .15%. 

-Vincennes Police were called at 4:04 PM TO Autumn Ridge Building 8 yesterday on a trespassing complaint.  40-year-old Richard J. Williams was arrested for Criminal Trespass and Possession of a Syringe.

-28-year-old Kayla Hope Schuckert of Vincennes was arrested at 7:21 last night by Vincennes Police in the 300 block of Broadway.  She was wanted on a warrant for Failure to Appear.

 –A Loogootee man was jailed in Martin County Tuesday night after a traffic stop.  At just before 10 Tuesday evening, officers were patrolling when they saw a gold Toyota passenger car and they say the driver committed a traffic infraction.  After the stop, the driver, Tyler Tinkle gave Martin County Sergeant Keith Keller a small amount of marijuana and a grinder from inside the vehicle. After a probable cause search, pills, paraphernalia and scales were found in the vehicle, the 22 year old Tinkle of Loogootee was then charged with Possession of Meth, a Schedule 4 Substance, Marijuana and paraphernalia.

–  A Pike County man was jailed in Princeton after allegedly driving 95 on I69 in Gibson County.  State Police say 36-year-old Jedediah Comer of Winslow was seen by a trooper traveling at the high rate of speed at the 24 mile marker.   He was stopped and the trooper smelled alcohol. Field tests show he was allegedly impaired and further investigation revealed a .13%BAC.  Comer is charged with operating while intoxicated and speeding.
