Local drug arrests made Friday

        Arrests were made early in the weekend in connection with a meth distribution investigation by multiple agencies.

        Washington Police report that on Friday night they went to a home on County Road 400-North north of Washington and arrested Terry Russell, 61-years-old. At the home they found a pistol, syringes, paraphernalia and other items associated with distributing meth.  Russell was charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, Unlawful Possession of a Syringe, Maintaining a Common Nuisance and Possession of Paraphernalia.

That arrest came as the result of a traffic stop Thursday in Knox County which led police to a home in Cannelburg in Daviess County Friday.   Two were apprehended there on drug and weapons charges.  They were; 45 year old Lowell Graber and 43-year-old Heather McCord.

        Washington Police, The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department, Indiana State Police and the DEA are all involved in the investigations.
