Thursday arrests were part of ongoing case

    –    As we reported yesterday, Lionel Bogard, Courtney Eakins and Paul Jensen were all booked into the Knox County jail on drug and other charges late Thursday night.  The arrests are reportedly part of an ongoing investigation of several agencies including Knox County authorities, Washington Police, State Police and the DEA.  Over a pound of crystal meth was seized in the traffic stop Thursday night.  Bogard was charged with  dealing in meth, resisting law enforcement and unlawful possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon. Eakins, 26, and Jensen were charged with possession of meth.

In local arrests….Washington Police arrested three men after an investigation yesterday for disorderly conduct. 24-year-old Josue Tarres Rodriguez, 26-year-old Hector Luna Colon both of Vincennes, and 22 year old Kelvin Melendez of Washington were all booked into the Daviess County Security Center without bond.

   -Three were jailed on nuisance and possession charges in Washington yesterday.  Arrest reports show Washington officers charged 45-year-old    Lowell Graber, 43-year-old Heather McCord and 61-year-old Terry Russell with possession of paraphernalia and maintaining a common nuisance.    Graber was also charged with possession of meth.  Graber and Russell are charged with possession of a firearm by a felon. 

On the police logs…a Washington resident reported a window broken in a garage and several items missing.  The report was made at just after 10-am yesterday from a home on Southeast 11th Street.  Police are investigating.
