Gas prices up but are starting to stabilize…

        Gas prices have leveled off after a spike earlier this week according to Gas Buddy-dot-Com.

        The average price today is 2.42 in Indiana.   That’s above the national average of 2.36.

        The highest price is in northern Indiana at 2.49.  The lowest is in Indy where some stations are at 2.09.

        Washington’s prices are 2.33, Vincennes 2.38, Petersburg and Pike County’s prices range from 2.26 to 2.39.  In Loogootee it’s 2.19 to 2.35.   Jasper has it for 2.26.  Lowest prices in the region are in Greene County where you can pump it for 2.16.
