The oldest continuous festival in Indiana is starting today in Odon in Northern Daviess County.  The Odon Old Settler’s Days has been going on for 132 years….

That’s Dave Smith with the festival.  He says alumni from schools in Odon and North Daviess plan their reunions around the event.

Smith says the festival begins with a parade tonight..

The featured entertainment tonight at the park is The Marlins. The act is made up of four brothers whose repertoire covers the entire musical spectrum including country, rock, big band, pop, classical, jazz, and bluegrass.  It’s a free show, be sure and bring your lawn chairs. The show is at 8.

Prior to that the floral open will be open 7 to 9 and presentations of the 2017 Grand Marshal and of the 2016 Little Miss and Mister take place at 7:30.

Tomorrow night the rides open and there the 2017 Little Miss and Mister contest.
