A man was sentenced in Daviess County yesterday after pleading guilty to rape in May.
31-year-old Joseph Tyler Brown received a nearly 10 year sentence from Superior Court Judge Dean Sobecki. Brown was given credit for 360 days already served.
Brown will finish out his sentence in community corrections, register as a sexual violent predator, pay court costs and have no contact with the victim.
The crime stems from an incident which occured about a year ago.
