The Pike County Community continues to mourn the loss and help a family who were victims of a house fire on Monday.
Fire departments were called out at just after noon Monday to a home in the 1700 block of West County Road 200-North at Willisville south of Petersburg.
According to Pike County Sheriff Deputies, when they arrived a Michael Kinman and his daughter Gina were seen standing outside. 77 year old Dorothy Kinman had gotten out but went back in to retrieve some items. She died in the fire.
Reports are that the fire may have happened due to an accident from cooking.
