James M. Woodsmall, 71, passed away at 4:55 pm on July 29, 2017 at Good Samaritan Hospital. James was born in Knox County, IN on June 19, 1946 the son of Irene Woodsmall. He married Anna M. Allen and she preceded him in death on April 4, 2008.
James had been a crossing guard for Vincennes Community School Corporation.
Survivors include his daughter, Tina Ann Woodsmall of Vincennes; sons, Roger Woodsmall and his wife Amanda of Vincennes, Kevin Woodsmall of Gas City, IN, James Woodsmall and his wife Alison of Bicknell; sisters, Ethel Early of Vincennes, Gloria Keller and her husband Harry of Vincennes, Carol Twitty of Vincennes, Patricia Woodsmall of Vincennes, Naomi Bell of Terre Haute; brother, Richard Woodsmall of Vincennes; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. James was preceded in death by his parents and wife Anna Woodsmall.
Graveside services for James will be held at 1:30 pm on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at Memorial Park Cemetery, 919 Willow St., Vincennes with Rev. Fred Nocus officiating. Interment will follow the graveside service. Friends may visit with James’ family from 1:00 pm until the hour of the graveside service of 1:30 pm at Memorial Park Cemetery. Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, Vincennes has been entrusted with James’ final arrangements.
