Daviess County advertising they are open for business

Inside Indiana Business featured The Daviess County Economic Development Corporation in an article this week.

They reported on the recently launched national and statewide advertising campaign the DCEDC has launced to bolster efforts to find business prospects.

Advertisements touting key Daviess County assets, including I-69, work force, and income and population growth will be included in a special, Indiana-focused section of the July 2017 edition of  Site Selection magazine.

Inside Indiana Business spoke with DCEDC Executive Director Ron Arnold who they want to demonstrate that Daviess County and southwest Indiana are “open for business.”

Arnold adds Daviess County is one of the few rural counties in Indiana that is actually growing by double digits in population.  He also said since the Great Recession, the county has remained at or near the top of the unemployment rate among counties within Indiana.
