(DLC Media) A body was recovered in a Warrick County lake Saturday.
41-year-old Jeremy D Bunker and his 38 year old wife Vanessa D. Bunker were swimming after dark in Yellow Banks Lake near the beach. Conservation officers report that after becoming disoriented and encountering some algae, the couple tried to swim ashore. At 10:23pm, bystanders saw Mrs. Bunker struggling and yelling for help. They jumped in and rescued her. Mr. Bunker however, went missing.
At 12:39 Sunday morning, Mr. Bunker’s body was found by Conservation Officers utilizing a remotely powered vehicle.
Authorities say alcohol was believed to be a contributing factor in the incident.
