The city of Washington has been named a recipient of the Active Living Workshops.
It’s all part of a partnership of several entities working to promote healthy living in all aspects of a community. Finalists for the workshops were selected through a competitive process. Other cities receiving the designation include Salem, Michigan City and Crawfordsville.
Officials with the program says a local workshop will likely take place sometime this fall
