Python goes missing in Bloomington

A pet python has escaped from an apartment near the Indiana University campus in Bloomington.

The Bloomington Herald-Times says the owner called police Wednesday morning to report the missing python, named Iris, in the 400 block of East Second Street.

The python is described as being about 3 ½ feet long, has bright green on its back and has a black tail.
