Betty Ann Kahl, 92, of Vincennes, passed away at 4:05 pm Friday June 30th, 2017 at her residence.
She was born August 31, 1924 in Shelburn, Indiana to George Allen and Elma (Yates) McNeece.
Betty had worked at Franklin School in the cafeteria and was a homemaker. Her memberships included the First Baptist Church and the Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary. Betty loved to sew and quilt and making quilts for her family gave her great joy.
Surviving are her children, Nancy Dale (Alan) Kruse of Fort Branch, Vicki Ann Kahl of Vincennes, and Mary Beth Spence and her significant other, Charles Westcott of Brownsburg; along with eight grandchildren, 23, great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by husband, Paul D. Kahl, whom she married on May 23, 1942 and preceded her on October 27, 2004; her parents George Allen and Elma (Yates) McNeece; her step father, Fred R. “Casey” Jones; her sister, Virginia Burnworth; and her two brothers, Max and Robert McNeece.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday July 3, 2017 at Goodwin Funeral Home with visitation from Noon until the service time. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
