Wednesday arrests involved heroin

-4.6 grams of heroin was confiscated in the Wednesday morning traffic stop that resulted in three drug arrests.  As we reported yesterday, 27-year-old Bethany M. Johnson of Washington and 28-year-old Thomas J. Hardcastle were charged with possession and conspiracy to commit dealing in a narcotic as well as possession of a syringe and paraphernalia.  Also arrested in the case was the driver of the vehicle 46-year-old Kenneth W. Taylor of Washington charged with conspiracy to commit dealing and operating while intoxicated. All three face nuisance charges.  The vehicle was stopped by k9 Deputy Tyler Ramsey and sheriff’s department’s dog “Storm” at 2-am as it turned from 57 onto Flora for failure to use a turn signal. Ramsey used the dog which alerted to the presence of the drugs.   All three remain incarcerated at the security center.

Other recent arrests…

-53-year-old Gregory Phillips of Odon was charged with driving while suspended with a prior by sheriff’s deputies Wednesday.  Bond was posted.

-60-year-old William M. Aishe of Odon was arrested by state police Wednesday for operating while intoxicated refusal.  Nob bond was set.

-James A. Booher of Washington was picked up on a writ of attachment yesterday.  Bond was set at $900.00
