Daviess Community Hospital has announced that Dr. Jess Brower has obtained the postgraduate designation of Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician.
Angie Steiner with the hospital’s Business Development Department says the training will aid the doctor in the prevention and treatment of athletic injuries by enhancing his diagnostic skills and patient care. Brower is one of 5500 others in the world who hold a CCSP Certification.
In addition, Brower’s clinical assistant, Brandy Ramaj Jewett, now sees patients in an outpatient rehabilitation setting. She’s an athletic trainer nationally certified and licensed to perform treatment and rehab of various injuries leading to disability and functional imitations.
Dr. Brower’s office is located in the recently opened DCH CORE Center in downtown Washington.
